Program Requirements
The Farm to Table Programs is offered to Apex High students currently enrolled in Agriculture, Culinary Arts, or Foods courses at Apex High School. The Farm to Table program opens a wide variety of hands-on activities and offers the pride of belonging to several school wide organizations. Program opportunities and advantages include off-site learning experiences such as the NC State Dairy, State Farmers Market, local farms/restaurants, joint classes, guest speakers, and serving as part of our yearly “Under the Stars” dinner event.
Requirements to earn the distinction of being a part of the Farm to Table program include:
Students who complete the requirements for the program will earn a cord at graduation.
We believe the Farm to Table Program can be of benefit for every student. Students have been asked to pay the highly recommended $20 t-shirt fee so that our students have a uniform for our field trips and events. If your family is unable to pay dues because of financial hardship, we have grants available. Field trip fees will be collected separately before each trip.

Requirements to earn the distinction of being a part of the Farm to Table program include:
- Joining either Future Farmers of America (FFA) or Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) yearly
- Enrollment and completion in either a Culinary Arts, Foods Science, Food and Nutrition, or Agriculture pathway
- Completing an hours requirement
